Rail-Veyor Takes 3rd Place at the 2019 Mining Cleantech Challenge
Rail-Veyor was chosen by mining executives and investors in the industry as one of the best among a competitive field of 12 total companies representing the U.S., Canada and Israel. An international team of judges reviewed and voted on the winners.
The third annual Mining Cleantech Challenge quickly and efficiently provides targeted connections between mining industry operators, OEMs, and clean technology solution providers with a mutually beneficial goal of meeting industry’s needs while simultaneously introducing innovative solutions to the marketplace.
“While the global mining industry navigates an evolving market, certain producers are integrating innovative technology and alternative, less polluting energy sources into mining operations,” said Shelly Curtiss, Executive Director of Colorado Cleantech Industries Association, which hosts the Mining Cleantech Challenge.
To be successful in today’s mining industry, you need advanced solutions, solutions that impact your bottom line but also advance your social license to operate. Mining companies are looking for ways to save water and energy within their facilities and are engaging their suppliers to integrate practices that conserve resources through remote sensing, on-site power, data analytics, and other methods. Rail-Veyor is proud to be included among this distinguished list.
“It is truly an honor to receive such an award but it’s also amazing to think that in certain situations if a Rail-Veyor system is used then the top two winning solutions would not be needed,” stated Jim Fisk, Executive Chairman of Rail-Veyor Technologies Global Inc.
